Meghan Markle could return to the Royal Family if she abides by one simple condition

Meghan Markle would have to abide by one condition should she return to the Royal Family, it has been claimed by an author, which comes as the Sussexes continue their lives in California

Meghan Markle could return to the Royal Family if she abides by one condition, it has been claimed.

The Duchess of Sussex and her husband Prince Harry stepped down as senior working members of the Royal Family in 2020.

Months after announcing their departure, the couple then moved across the pond and began new lives for themselves in Montecito, California. Going off on their own, since departing the Royal Family, Meghan and Harry have made several claims in regards to the Monarchy, with them airing their views in tell-all interviews, documentaries and memoirs.

But in recent weeks, word of a reconciliation has emerged, with Harry even chatting to his father, The King, on the phone last month. It was also recently claimed that the couple would have even been keen to come over the UK to spend Christmas with the Royals at Sandringham. But should a reconciliation happen that would see Meghan make a comeback to the Royal Family, the one condition she would have to abide by has been revealed by an expert.

According to The Express, Tom Quinn, author of Scandals of the Royal Palaces: An Intimate Memoir of Royals Behaving Badly and many other royal-focused tomes, has said: “I think it’s possible that Meghan could return but I think she would physically have to live in England and she would have to, very quietly, start to do the things that the Royal Family does best. I don’t think she could come back if she wants an apology or if she wants the Royal Family to completely change. They just can’t do it, I just don’t think they will.”
