Part 1 of 2

King Charles, despite his cancer battle, continues royal duties. While media spotlight is on Charles, Camilla, William, and Kate, Princess Anne remains a quiet yet essential supporter.

Known for her dedication, Anne recently had a touching conversation with Charles about her future role—reportedly moving him to tears.

A Lifelong Bond Between King Charles and Princess Anne

Charles and Anne, born just 21 months apart, shared a close childhood at Buckingham Palace and built a lifelong bond. When Charles became king in 2022, Anne stood firmly by his side.

Known as one of the hardest-working royals, she quickly returned to duties after a concussion last year. Over the years, they’ve attended many events together, with Anne affectionately calling her brother “old bean.”

Princess Anne: A Royal Workhorse

Princess Anne is known as one of the hardest-working royals, often called a “workhorse” for her dedication.

During a recent visit to South Africa, she spoke about last year’s accident, admitting she doesn’t remember it but remains focused on her duties.

In an interview, she said she has no plans to retire, viewing her royal role as a lifelong commitment inspired by her parents.

King Charles’ Vision for the Monarchy

While King Charles supports a smaller monarchy, Princess Anne has voiced concerns. In a CBC interview, she said slimming it down might not be wise, especially now with fewer working royals.

She noted, “It does not seem like a good idea,” pointing out that the concept was made when more royals were active.
