New Donald Trump and King Charles photo leaves everyone asking the same question

A new photo of Donald Trump and King Charles III from last night’s regal state banquet has quickly gone viral — and everyone is saying the same thing.

On Tuesday, September 17, the British Royal Family welcomed the U.S. President, 79, and First Lady, 55, to Windsor Castle for the start of a historic two-day state visit. It was Trump’s second time on an official state trip to the U.K., his first being in 2019 when Queen Elizabeth II was still on the throne.

This time around, the itinerary has been packed, with the President and First Lady spending time with King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Princess Kate. One of the highlights was Tuesday night’s white tie banquet in St George’s Hall, where Trump addressed 160 guests, praising the “special” bond between Britain and America.

“We’re joined by history and faith, by love and language and by transcendent ties of culture, tradition, ancestry and destiny,” he told the room.

As expected, the evening produced a stream of official photographs, later shared across royal and White House social media accounts. But one shot in particular — showing Trump standing next to King Charles with a wide grin — has set the internet alight.

Posted to the official White House Instagram with the caption “President Donald J. Trump and His Majesty King Charles III” and a row of UK and U.S. flag emojis, the photo immediately drew attention for one reason: Trump’s teeth.

Many social media users were convinced the picture had been heavily edited to brighten his smile, with comments calling it a “FaceTune fail.”

“Whoever did the teeth whitening editing needs to be fired,” one person wrote, racking up over 7,000 likes. Another joked: “The FaceTune teeth whitening was a massive fail. You’re fired!”

Others couldn’t help but pile on: “Why do you edit like this?” asked one user, while another quipped: “Why Trump be lookin like that?”

Some commenters even questioned whether the image was AI-generated. “Was this picture AI generated?? Looks a bit off,” one user speculated. Another added: “Trump looks like a wax figure.” A royal fan chimed in: “I have never seen an image look more like an AI generated picture in my life.”

The viral reaction has left the White House open to questions about its photo editing — with many pointing out how unusual it is for such an official image to spark laughter online.

On Christmas dinner night, my daughter ran up to knock on the door, her little hands trembling with excitement. My sister opened it, sighed, and muttered, “What is she doing here? Please, we don’t want any trouble tonight.” My daughter came back to me in tears. “Aunt said she doesn’t want us here, Mommy.” I walked up and knocked again, my heart pounding, ready to confront her. My mother appeared beside her and said coldly, “Tonight is for real family only — take the kids and don’t come back.” Through the doorway, I saw them all — my whole family — laughing and chatting around the glowing Christmas tree and the perfect holiday feast. I just nodded, forcing a small smile, and whispered, “I understand.” Ten minutes later, my father burst through the door, shouting my name — his face as pale as snow
