The prophecies of two of the most famous prophets, Nostradamus and Baba Vanga, have amazed people around the world. Many of their predictions about the future — even ones far beyond our time — have actually come true.
Baba Vanga, the blind Bulgarian mystic whose real name was Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova, passed away in 1996. She is said to have predicted major events like the 9/11 attacks on the Twin Towers — a prediction that some believe Nostradamus also made.
Back in 1989, Baba Vanga reportedly said, “Horror, horror! The American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds. The wolves will be howling in a bush, and innocent blood will be gushing.”
Baba Vanga also predicted that the 44th president of the United States would be a Black man. She even foresaw the assassination of Indira Gandhi, as well as her own death.
Nostradamus, a French apothecary, doctor, and famous seer, is best known for his book Les Prophéties, a collection of 942 short poems called quatrains that tell of future events. His writings have been studied and reinterpreted for centuries, with many believing that a lot of his predictions have come true.
It’s believed he foresaw events like the Great Fire of London, the rise of Hitler, both World Wars, and the nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Some fans of his work — which was written using a mix of Greek, Italian, Latin, and Provençal — even think he predicted the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Year 2025
For 2025, Nostradamus predicted the rise of a dark cult that would take power, and also the creation of an underwater empire.
Meanwhile, Baba Vanga foresaw the emergence of telepathy, suggesting that people could one day communicate through their minds, completely changing how we understand human potential.
Their projections also carry a dark and unsettling edge.
Nostradamus talked about a terrible battle happening in Europe, saying, “The ancient plague will be worse than enemies,” while Baba Vanga warned that this fight would “devastate” communities.
Nostradamus also mentioned an asteroid heading toward Earth: “From the cosmos, a fireball will rise, A harbinger of fate, the world pleads. Science and fate in a cosmic dance: The fate of the Earth, a second chance.”
According to Sky History, the French astrologer also predicted that the war between Russia and Ukraine would eventually end when both sides become “exhausted.”
