New photo of King Charles released ahead of Amazon Prime documentary

The 76-year-old monarch will feature in a new documentary aimed at showcasing his lifelong dedication to environmental causes. Over recent years, members of the royal family have increasingly collaborated with streaming platforms, from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix docuseries to Prince William’s appearance on Eugene Levy’s Apple TV+ series, The Reluctant Traveler. Now, King Charles is joining the trend, bringing his message to an even larger international audience.

Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision

The project, currently titled Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision, is set to air in early 2026. King Charles described the film as an opportunity to encourage a wider audience to embrace his philosophy of environmental stewardship.

“Never has it been more important for the world to make a concerted effort to protect and prioritise our planet,” he said. “It is therefore my fondest hope that this film may encourage a new audience to learn about the philosophy of Harmony and perhaps inspire the same sense of determination it has given me to help build a more sustainable future.”

The documentary will feature the King reflecting on his work to promote sustainability around the globe, highlighting efforts from the forests of Guyana to sustainable communities in India, as well as initiatives through his King’s Foundation closer to home.

Behind the Scenes

Filming reportedly began in January, with locations including Dumfries House in Scotland. In July, a film crew accompanied King Charles as he hosted a Harmony Summit at Highgrove Gardens. Photographs released by the palace show the King in a light summer suit and pink patterned tie, standing on the grounds of Highgrove during filming.

Produced by Passion Planet in collaboration with the King’s Foundation, the documentary will be distributed by Amazon MGM Studios and will stream exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide. Unlike other royal-focused productions, this documentary will focus on King Charles’ environmental vision rather than his family life.
